ADVANCE TO CANTON

HONG KONG, July 5
Chinese sources claim that their troops are continuing the advance to Canton, detachments having reached Kiangtsin, ten miles from Canton.
The Chinese air force took the initiative and heavily bombed the Japanese position. Chinese troops retook Chungmo.w. west of Kaifeng.
