TAXING BOYS AND GIRLS

Sir,—During the Address-in-Reply debate the member for Bay of Islands used these words on several occasions: "That which affects all should be dealt with by all." Surely no one would disagree with those sentiments. How, then, does Mr. Boswell square himself in view of the fact that the party of which he is a member recently imposed taxation on thousands of boys and girls who did not have a vote?— I am, etc.,
