NO SEPARATE POLICIES

LONDON, July 4,
The War Minister, Mr. L. HoreBelisha, in a speech at a dinner given by the Franco-British Association, stressed the unity between Britain,and France. "Let the world know that our two countries understand the nature of the challenge offered to us and that we will meet it," he said. "We have no military secrets from one another. We will live as comrades and, as such, if need be, we shall die. There is no longer a British policy or a French policy, but a Franco-British policy.
"England can say to France, as France to England, 'We have thought the same way and we have reached the same conclusions. We cherish the same ideals. We are friends, we are strong, and we shall stand together.'"
