DRAMA GROUP MEETS
The annual meeting of the Elizabeth McCombs Club drama group was held recently at the Trades Hrll Mrs. K. Baxter was m the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The financial report was very satisfactory showing a creditable balance, and was a tribute to the interest taken by the members in the group's activities during the year. The election of officers resulted in Mrs. K. Baxter's re-election as chairwoman, and Mrs. N. Grace was elected secretary-treas-urer and Mrs. Harris main producer. It was decided to continue to hold the group's meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs. Shepherd and, Miss Reynolds, retiring secretary and producer respectively, arid regret was expressed that Miss Reynolds intended leaving Wellington. Members of the group look forward to another active year ahead.
