GERMAN FARMS
USE OF FOREIGN LABOUR

BERLIN, June 30.
The Labour Ministry announced that German farms are at present employing 37,000 , Italians, 15,000 Yugoslavs. 12.00& Hungarians, 5000 Bulgarians, 4000 Dutch, 40.000 Slovaks, and also large numbers of Czechs.
The retail produce trade is being reduced by one-third in order to release a fresh labour reserve of 3,500,000." Women and children, so far have not been tapped.
