SAVING THE WORLD
"Living Issues" is the title of a valuable little book issued by the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Largely compiled by ministers of the Church, if deals with the various pressing problems confronting the troubled world at the present time, and a serious study of its pages should do much to clarify thought.
Of rather wider scope is "Christianity or the New Paganism?" by Henry Brinton, published by Frederick Muller, Ltd.- If democracy is to survive, says the author, it must find a spiritual force to give it vitality. Christianity, purged of negative morality and sexual taboos, could be the social force which will prevent democracy being extern minated by Fascism.
