MIDLANDS ASSOCIATION

At the last meeting of the Birmingham and Midland Counties Association, the attendance at which was affected by the bad weather, opportunity was taken to welcome back Mrs. Melvin, a foundation member, who has been visiting the home districts for the past twelve months. Some nominations for the executive council were made, but owing to the small attendance it was decided to leave the election until a later date. Interesting items, consisting of songs, duets, and quartets, were provided by Mrs. Astill, Miss Curtis, Messrs. McKay, and Stewart, and St. Andrew's quartet Mrs. Caigou officiating as accompanist. Supper was served at the close of the evening.
