MIKONUI DREDGE

AUSTRALIAN INTERESTS

A new dredging company is being formed in Melbourne to work an extensive area on the west coast of the South Island. The new company is known as Mikonui Gold Dredging (N.Z.), Limited, with a capital of £324,800 in 320,000 ordinary shares of £1 and 96,000 deferred shares of ls. Half of the ordinary shares have been underwritten in New Zealand. The remainder are to be underwritten in Sydney and Melbourne. It is proposed to equip the area with a modern allsteel electric dredge.

The directors are Messrs. E. G. Banks and R. W. Stringer, of Melbourne, R. B. Bannerman, of Gore, C. G. McKellar, of Christchurch, and W. J. Watkins, of Timaru.
