retone beat Miramar by 17 points to 2 at North Park, Petone. Tlie game was full of interesting play, though the wet ground made foothold insecure. The forwards were evenly matched, but Petone h-art some backs whose attack was difficult to stop, notably Scorringe on the wing Patrick at centre-three-quarter also was on his game. For Petone tries were scored by Scorringe (2), Clarke, Beban, and Coman. Coman converted one. Miramar's only score was a goal from a penalty kick by Askew. The referee was Mr. L. Davies.
