THE AEOLIANS.
In the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall tonight The Aeolians will present their fifth choral recital, the proceeds of which are to be handed to the Wellington Social Club for the Blind. The choir, under the musical direction of Mr. Maxwell Fernie, has been working hard for months in preparation for this, its initial platform appearance of the year, and patrons are assured of a veritable feast of beautiful choral music. In addition^ those who attend the performance will have the deep satisfaction to be derived from the knowledge that they are directly assisting in the work of charity and in the furthering of a very worthy object. Supporting artists who have given their services in the cause of charity will be Mrs. Eunice T. Easte, operatic soprano, Mr. Martin Liddle, baritone, and Mr. Graham Ayson, violinist. It is confidently expected that the choir and assisting artists will, this evening, receive the support of both music-lovers and the charitably disposed, and that their efforts will meet with the recognition and encouragement they so rightly deserve.
