WILKINS'S DIFFICULTY
FIRMS REFUSE TO BUILD
(Received June 7, 9 a.m.) OSLO, June 6. Sir Hubert Wilkins, when interviewed today, said it was very difficult at the moment to get a new submarine built in England for his Polar expedition. "English firms have refused to build because of the recent terrible disasters," he said. "If I am unsuccessful I will return to America."
