PROMOTIONS MADE
RIILITARY DECREES ISSUED

PARIS, June 6.
Cabinet, President Lebrun presiding, appointed General Gamelin General-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, with the title of Marshal.
Rear-Admiral Darlan has been appointed Admiral of France, with full command of the navy, and General Vuillemin Air Marshal.
Cabinet approved decrees bringing Le Havre and Bordeaux under military control in the event of emergency, and providing for stricter control of the mercantile marine.
' Credits were voted to build up additional war reserves.
