SIR PENN FIRST SOUGHT
If the name originally selected had been available Survoy would have been known as Sir Perm, apparently after the celebrated case of Perm v. Lord Baltimore, which settled the boundaries of Pennsylvania and Maryland. However, when that name was not allowed Survoy was selected.
