Orakei Hurdle Race, £350; 1% miles. —1-3 Ellanui, 9.10 (Mclnally), 1; 3-1 Loombination, 11.3 (Gilmer), 2; 7-7 Chikara, 9.0 (Turvey), 3. Scr.: Rajanya, Thrust. Four lengths; eight lengths. Time, 3min 20 3-ssec.
York Handicap, £500; 1 mile.—l-1 Valmint, 7.9 (Wiggins), 1; 13-11 Balinavar, 8.1 (Goldsbro'), 2; 8-5 Jack Tar, 7.4 (Fearn), 3. Scr.: Pocket Venus. Length each way. Time, lmin 42sec.
