Particulars of applications for enrolment in the New Zealand national military reserve received up to 9 a.m. today are:—Auckland, 539; Paeroa, 432; Whangarei, 359; Hamilton, 320; Wellington, 816; Wanganui, 507; Napier, 842; Hawera, 276; Nelson, 421; Christchurch, 661; Dunedin, 460; Invercargill, 403. Total, 6036. Increase since yesterday, 430. Average daily increase, 520.
This return relates only to enrolment cards received and classified at the twelve central Post Offices corresponding to the twelve military areas mentioned aJaove.
