EGG MARKET STEADY
Dominion Distributors, Ltd., report that the egg market in Wellington is now steady, with shorter supplies and better demand. Closing of the margin between mediums and A grade may be expected, but otherwise the market should remain firm. Wholesale prices today are as follows: — Specials, 2s 8d; A grade, 2s sd; B grade, 2s; pullets, Is lOd; ducks, 2s sd, representing a drop of 2d in specials and Id in A grade only. Dominion Distributors' pay-out for last week's supplies will be: Specials, 2s 9d; A grade. 2s 5Ad; B grade, 2s; pullets, Is lOd; ducks, 2s sd.
