FATAL INJURY
TACKLE AT FOOTBALL

WHANGAREI, This Day.
Arthur Stanley Jones, single, aged !21, of Okaihau, died when being taken by car to the Kawakawa hospital after an injury at a football match. He was tackled and thrown heavily while running with the ball. A post-mortem examination, showed that he fractured the spinal cord. *
