The "standstill* conference on Gee^ snany's short and medium term foreiga| - debts is now almost an annual fixtures. The negotiation of the agreement fw undertaken by the Foreign Bans Creditors* Committee. In 1937 it waW reported that the total of credit lines < had been reduced from 1,567,000,000 reichmarks, as at Februaiy 19, 19S6J - to 1,202,000;000 reichmarks up ta November, 1936. In December, 1933j the agreement was extended for a furs - ther ye.ar, and the total of credit lines ; was given as 1,009,000,000 reichmarki - at September 30, 1937.
