PALMERSTON N., This Day,

A Maori, Victor Weipeihana, electrician, Wellington, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., on a charge of unlawful conversion of a motor-car after the Otaki races on Saturday. The car, which was removed from the rear of the stewards' stand, is owned by Mr. F. S. Easton, Foxton.
