TRAIN DERAILED
SLIP ON RAILWAY

GREYMOUTH, This Day.
Over an inch of rain fell in Greymouth between 5 and 7 o'clock this morning, and the total fall during the night was 123 points. A slip occurred this morning on the railway line «,at Coal Creek as the Greymouth-Dunollie goods-passenger train was passing. The engine escaped, but five wagons were derailed. Passengers were conveyed to Runanga by bus. The line was cleared by 10 o'clock.
