ARRESTS IN BRNO
POLICE HEADQUARTERS
RAIDED

LONDON, May 12,
The Prague correspondent of "The Times" states that Black Shirts raided the Czech police headquarters at Brno and arrested 21 persons, some of whom attempted to commit suicide. Many Social Democratic refugees, some of whom had passports to England, were arrested, including M. Cekota, editor of the "Shecking" (the newspaper of M. Bata, the boot and shoe manufacturer) who recently went to Germany at the' invitation of the German Press Association.
