BROOD MARES FOR ITALY
To assure the development of trotters in Italy, the breeding foundation, operated by the Government, has bought six American-bred brood mares for its stud. These are Miss Woerner, by The Laurel Hall from Mary Coburn; Jane Willett, by Mr. McElwyn from Miss Rhinelander; Grace Dickinson, by The Senator from Jeanette Rankin; Mazie Volo, by Peter Volo from Mazie W.; Lorena Guy, by Guy Richard from Lorena Watts; and Glorious Betty, by Peter Volo from Azurea. These were all in foal to Hazelton or. Allegro.
