Miss Dorothy Davies, Wellington, is visiting Auckland to meet Dr. Artur Sehnabel and. Frau Sehnabel, with whom she was till recently associated in Italy. Dr. and Frau Schnabel are through passengers to' Sydney, and are to make an Australian concert tour. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson, Car■tertoh, are spending a holiday in Wel- • lington. Mrs. H. L. Northern has returned to New; Plymouth" after a visit to Wei- : lington and Falmerston North. . Mrs. G. Dixon, Dunedin, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Empire, Hotel. . Mr. and Mrs. John Fuller, Sydney, ; formerly of Wellington, left Australia' : by the Dominion Monarch for a trip . to England. Mrs. A. C. Allison, Wellington, who ! has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Sieaton Morris, Waipawa, returned home yesterday. " : Mrs". Murray Hilgendorf, who was formerly Miss Myra Billins, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R; H. Billins, of College Street, Christchurch, left Melbdtirne last week with her husband to take up their residence in Darwin, Northern. Territory. Mr. Hilgendorf; has been appointed ground engineer of the West Australian Airways,,, and his territory, will extend for, 2500 . miles from.. Geraldton, which is about 200 miles north of Perth, to Wyndham, about 300 miles south-west of Darwin. Mrs. T. C. Collins, Hawera, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. W. Twist, Plimmerton. . Mes. E. Penny (Napier), Mrs. I. Wil- . son (Palmerston North), and Mrs. G. Welling (Adelaide) are staying at the Midland Hotel. Mesdames J. T. Williams (Malaya) and C. T. Ross (Sydney), and Miss Dorothea Tonkins (London) are among the igjiiests at the Hotel Waterloo.
