In defence of the True Teaching of the Word of God Will commence (God willing) in the above Hall on SUNDAY at 7 p.m. under the title of "TURNED UNTO FABLES" In the course of which it will be shown that the false and contradictory doctrines of the Churches of Christendom literally fulfil the following prediction of the Apostle Paul: "THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE . . . THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES." (2 Tim. 4:3-4, see also 2 Pet. 2:1-2, Luke 18:8, Isa. 60:2, Isa. 25:7, Jer. 16:10, etc.). SUNDAY, JUNE 18— "That Judgment Takes Place on the Day of Death—a Fable." SUNDAY, JUNE 25— "That Rewards or Punishment Can be Experienced (by those already dead) Without a Resurrection of the Dead —a Fable." SUNDAY, JULY 2— "That the Lord Jesus Christ . Will Not Personally Return to Earth to Literally Reign as King over all the Earth from David's Throne Restored in Jerusalem —a Fable." SUNDAY, JULY 9— "That the Church is the Kingdom of God or that the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom 'Beyond the Skies' —a Fa,ble." SUNDAY, JULY 16— "That Salvation Can be Received Without Believing the Gospel and Being Baptised—a Fable." SUNDAY, JULY 23— "That Baptism '(Bodily Immersion in Water) is Not Essential for Salvation, or that Infant-sprinkling is Bible Baptism—a Fable." SUNDAY, JULY 30— . "The Doctrine of the Higher Critics —a Fable." "IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT . . . THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSETH US FROM ALL SIN." (1 John 1:7.) Questions invited. No collection.
