MAGISTRATE'S COURT
I Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., was on the Bench in the Magistrate's Court today.
For his fourth offence of drunkenness, Robert Scott Hamilton was fined £1, in. default fourteen days' imprisonment.
Bert Charles Bergesen was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment, for his second offence of drunkenness, and £1 for a breach of a prohibition order.
For being found on enclosed premises Michael McAlley was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within the next three months.
Alfred Croft was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for disposing of a pair of boots, knowing them to have been unlawfully obtained. For attempted false pretences, Arthur Leonard Fisher was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour.
Blythe Leslie Scott was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour for stealing a suit valued at £4 10s.
