MANY CASUALTIES
GRAIN ELEVATOR EXPLOSION

CHICAGO, May 11.
At least eight, and possibly sixteen persons perished, and nine firemen were injured as a result of an explosion in a grain elevator, which destroyed 800,000 bushels of v/heat.
