ANOTHER DERAILMENT
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
ASHBURTON, This Day.
For the second time in three days the trucks of a midnight south-bound goods train jumped the tracks in the early hours of this morning. Several trucks were badly damaged and the track was torn up for a hundred yards. The derailment occurred just north of Fairton Station. Fortunately, the trucks were derailed inside a loop, over which the south express was able to travel with a delay of 45 minutes in reaching Ashburton. Local trains were also delayed.
