WASHINGTON, May 8.
The House of Representatives passed the Naval Appropriations Bill of 773,000,000 dollars-after reinserting an item of 2,941,000 dollars for the construction of naval air bases on the Johnston, Midway, and Palmyra Islands in the Pacific, which had been eliminated in committee.
