HORSES FOR EGMONT

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, May 2,

The Ellerslie-trained horses Tooley Street and Miss Appellant left for Hawera by train tonight to compete at the Egmont Racing Club's Winter Meeting on Thursday and Saturday. Tooley Street has trained on well since winning at Whangarei recently, and is strongly fancied for the Mcßae Cup, in which he will be ridden by G Cameron. Miss Appellant is also in good trim, and she likes the ground easy.
