FREE AMBULANCE
During March the Wellington District Free Ambulance attended 1105 cases — 146 accidents, 939 transports, and 18 slight and 2 serious office cases. These figures were contained in the report submitted to the monthly meeting of the board by the superintendent, Mr. F. Roffe.
The total ambulance milage for the month was 8982.
The chairman, Sir Charles Norwood, reported that the figures for the year ended March 31, which had yet to be checked and audited, disclosed that th; financial result of the year's work, ing had been satisfactory.
