FLOOD DANGER PAST
WEATHER IN VICTORIA
MELBOURNE, April 19.
Though further heavy rain has fallen in parts of Victoria, the danger of further flooding is now past. All rail damage has been repaired and trains are proceeding as usual. The weather j.s now becoming colder and the first frosts of the season were experienced in the higher country last night. Last night was Melbourne's coldest this year, the minimum temperature being 42.8 degrees. Temperatures in the low thirties were experienced over a wide area in the State, but are unlikely to do damage at present.
