HITLER AS SUPERMAN
NAZI PROPAGANDA
"PRESERVER OF EUROPEAN
PEACE"
(Received April 20, 10.10 a.m.)
BERLIN, April 19,
The Minister of Propaganda, Dr. Goebbels, in a broadcast speech, described Herr Hitler as the superman of history whose name was a legend all over the world, and as the preserver and protector of European peace. He had extinguished the centres of conflagration which the democracies had built round Germany, at which the democracies cried with rage and indignation. The highest point man could attain was to engrave his name on the roll of his era. It would be impossible to conceive of the world today as it was before the rise of Herr Hitler. He had given European and world history a new -direction.
