BOXING TONIGHT.
It is anticipated that a large crowd will witness the first professional bout of the Wellington Boxing Association's 1939 season at the Town Hall tonight between Vie. Caltaux and Don. Johnson, both of Auckland, and two of the leading welter weights in the Dominion at the present time. Caltaux this morning stated that he was in great condition and confident, but Johnson will be hard to beat. Prospects are for a willing tussle with little between the contestants. The bout will be of twelve rounds. Some of Wellington's leading amateur boxers will be seen in an attractive array of amateur preliminaries. Particulars are advertised.
