ST. GEORGE'S DAY CONCERT.
The combined English county societies, under their new designation, English Folk Association, announce that the St. George's (England's) Day celebration will be held in the Masonic Hall, The Terrace, on Saturday. A fine musical programme will be presented by Misses Sarah Stacpoole and Molly Atkinson, and Messrs. Owen Bonifant, Ken Macaulay, E. A. Perry, and Clement Howe. An oration on England will be delivered by one of the Dominion's finest speakers, Professor Jnmes Shelley, Director of Broadcasting. The Wellington English Folk Dancing Club will stage a display under the direction of Miss H. Taylor, and community singing will be led by Mr. W. H. Hindle. After supper dancing will be continued until midnight
