WOMEN'S HOCKEY
A membership of twenty-five affiliated associations is shown in the annual report of the New Zealand Women's Hockey Association which is to be presented at the annual meeting of the association next Wednesday. Because a number of capitation fees were outstanding at the close of the year, the numerical strength of players has been assessed at 4023. The financial position of the association was again satisfactory, and a small profit resulted from the English tour last year.
