We also share his anticipa- | tion that the attempt to introduce a I State lottery would split his party and provoke a determined opposition in the community, leading to the development of the very faction and strife which the Prime Minister deprecates. Percy Paris, Chairman of the Wellington District of the Methodist Church, Lawrence A, North, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of New Zealand, Herbert W.
