TALISMAN DUBBO MINES
As returns of the Talisman Dubbo Gold Mine Company from No. 7 level have -not come up to expectations, advantage has been taken by the directors of the presence in New Zealand of Mr. R. A. Rutherford, A.O.S.M. Lode Mine engineer for the Patten Group in Australia, to make a full investigation and report on the company's mine and plant. He will advise as to future operations and opening up the virgin ore bodies south of the trig. Mr. Rutherford is now engaged on this work. Pending the receipt of that report the number of miners has been reduced to four. The treatment plant has been running satisfactorily, but until the advised development work in No. 4 level is sufficiently advanced, it will be closed down,
