AUCKLAND, This Day
Twenty-four nominations were received for the ten seats on the Auckland Transport Board. The election will be on May 3. Both the Citizens' Association and the Labour Party are running full tickets of ten members and there are four independent candidates.
The Minister of Justice (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason), present chairman, and the deputy chairman (the Hon. F. E. Lark) are not seeking re-election.
