BASIS FOR MEAT CUTS
BRITAIN'S EMPIRE SUPPLIES

LONDON, April 18,
The President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, in the House of Commons, said that the reductions of 3 per, cent, in the imports of mutton and lamb from the Dominions, which were announced on February 16, will apply to the actual imports during the last twelve months. The foreign reductions, 10 per cent., will apply to the basic quota of requirements for the current year.
