MORE RECRUITS IN BRITAIN
(Received April 19, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 18. The Secretary for War, Mr. L. HoreBelisha, states that recruits to the Regular Army and to the Territorials during the year ended March 31 were 38,911 and 87,915 respectively, compared with 29,482 and 47,928 in the previous year.
