WANGANUI CELEBRATION
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
WANGANUI, April 18,
A feature of the Anzac Day celebrations at Wanganui will be a ceremony at the afternoon civic service on Cook's Gardens, at which the colours of' the Wellington-West Coast Regiment will be presented to school cadets—probably to the Wanganui Technical College cadets, the youngest unit in the city. Battle honours won during the Great War are emblazoned on the colours. The Returned Soldiers' Association has been invited to supply the colour party.
The "dawn parade," which was-in-augurated at Wanganui, will be held as usual this year.
