SYDNEY, April 14.
War risk insurance rates to and from Australia rose sharply this afternoon. According to local cable advices, rates on the Suez Canal route are up 466 per cent.
For example, rates from the United Kingdom or the Continent .to Australia via Suez rose from 7s 6d yesterday to 35s per cent, today. Rates from Australia to the United Kingdom or the Continent via Suez rose from 10s to 40s per cent.
