POSTMAN'S BREEDING
Though sold with the West Derby Stud offering at the yearling sales, Postman, who has recently been racing very successfully in New South Wales, was bred by Mr. Lan Macßae at Tyneside, Masterton. Mr. Macßae writes:—"Postman was bred by me at Tyneside and was reared with Defaulter. His dam, Brown Paper-, is one of my brood mares, and is now in foal again to Defoe. I sold the colt as a yearling to" Mr. A. E. Preston, who entered him and sold him at the 1937 sales. Trusting these facts will be of interest to your readers."
