LIVING IN BOATSHEDS
Tenants of boatshed sites at Makara have been notified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands of a complaint by the Makara- County Council that the sheds are being used for residential purposes, particularly at holiday times. This is expressly forbidden, and if it is continued, says the warning to tenants, the tenancy will be cancelled and orders will be issued for the demolition of the shed.
