AERODROME INSPECTED

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

NEW PLYMOUTH, April 11

Two members of the British Air Mission that is in New Zealand, Sir Donald Banks and Sir Arthur Longmore, paid an unofficial visit today to New Ply-mouth,-where they inspected the muni* cipal aerodrome. They were en route from Auckland to Wellington in a Vega Gull piloted by Wing-Commander Grundy.

Though „hey expressed the view that flying-boats were likely to be used for some years on Empire services, they remarked that the fast long-range land planes being built opened up possibilities which would have to be consid ered, perhaps in the way of supplementary express services if the expense were warranted.
