EXPORT BEEF PRICES
The schedule buying rates for export beef in Gisborne district have been reduced, prime ox by Is 6d per 1001b, to 28s 6d for contract range weights. Over and under that range and second quality are quoted at 24s 6d, with cow at 18s, boner cow 15s 6d, and heifer 21s 6d. These rates are to operate from the opening of the Kaiti Freezing Works after the holidays.
