(Received March 31, 1.20 p.m.) PARIS, March 30. An effort is being made by all parties to induce M. Lebrun to accept the Presidency for a further seven years.
The election will take place on April 5.
M. Herriot, president of the Chamber of Deputies, who refuses to stand, tonight accompanied the President to the Senate. M. Lebrun will probably make a definite reply in a speech at Montelimar on April 2;
