RED CROSS SUB-CENTRE
The annual meetinjg of the Miramar sub-centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society was held recently at St. Aidan's schoolroom, and was well attended. Dr. Alexander Gillies, president of the Wellington centre, was present and complimented the sub-centre on a very successful year of activity. He expressed gratification, at the good progress which was being made among members' in fitting themselves for proficiency in first-aid and home nursing. The election of office-bearers resulted as ..follows:—President, Mrs. J. Bennett; vice-presidents, JDr. Findlay, Mr. F. L. Histed; honorary secretary, Mrs. Telford; honorary treasurer, Mr. J. Bennett; executive, Mesdames Slatford, Logan, Chegwin, Findlay, Robinson, Welsh, Askew, and Clark; delegate to Wellington centre, Mrs. J. Bennett.
