HEADMASTER FAREWELLED
A social was heid at' Seatoun School last night to bid farewell-to the headmaster, Mr. L. H. Amis,-who has been transferred to the Brooklyn SchooL Members of the school committee, the Home and School Association, the teaching staff, and old pupils and: friends were present and several presentations were made to Mr., Arcus. Eulogistic reference was made by several speakers to Mr. Arcus's long as-, sociation with the school and he was i wished every success in jiis new position. This morning presentations were made to Mr. Arcus by the pupils and teaching staff. The new headmaster is to be; MrLD. S. Rust, from the Masterton South School, and he will probably, commence his duties after the May, vacation. Pending his arrival, Mr. R. Gilpin, a master' at Seatoun School,. will act as headmaster." .s" y. y; -•
