HEAVY LAMBS EASIER

The weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board in respect to the London market states:—Lamb market: Heavyweights a shade easier, others unchanged Consumption continues good. Mutton market: Lightweight wethers firmer, others weaker; trade quiet Ewes firmer on the better demand. Beet market: Frozen beef, demand slow, prices shade easier; chilled beef, prices slightly firmer on the lighter supplies. New Zealand porker pigs: Lightweights easier others unchanged.; trade quiet. New Zealand baconer pigs: Firmer on the limited supplies. . The board advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday. Chilled beef prices are average of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market.
